I read the book 'The song of the forest' written by Colin Mackay and found a shorter story inside the novel that i really liked. I decided to adapt it into a short childrens story. I created a series of illustrations that helped make it into a book. I used paper and pencil to produce the original images and later printed them using a screen print to make the final copies.
